Speech & audio

yovoice

A desktop studio that turns text into speech, cloned voices, songs and music scores on your own computer.

New this week

What it does

yovoice is a desktop app for making audio with AI. You can turn text into speech, copy a voice from a short sample (voice cloning), design a new voice from a written description, and adjust emotion and delivery. A story dubbing mode lets you import text or subtitle files, give each line a character, and generate them one by one.

It can also make music. You write a style and lyrics, and it generates songs or instrumentals using several open AI music models. A score mode lets you write parts by bar and beat, import MIDI (a common format for music notes), and export the result. You can compare different takes, trim waveforms and export separate tracks.

Its makers say everything runs on your own machine, with no cloud fees. An optional assistant panel can chat with online AI services or a local model to help write lyrics and start generation. It also includes a command-line tool and an MCP server (a way for AI coding tools to use it) for people who want to connect it to other software.

Who it's for

Writers, video makers, podcasters and hobby musicians who want narration, voices or songs made on their own computer without paying per use.

Can I use it without coding?

Yes. There are ready-made installers for macOS, Windows and Linux, and models are downloaded inside the app. New to this? Start here.
