What it does
xiaogpt lets a Xiaomi "Xiao Ai" smart speaker answer questions using ChatGPT or other AI chat models. You speak to the speaker as usual, and it reads out the AI's answer.
It works with many AI services, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Kimi, Qwen and Doubao, and can use different voice engines for the spoken reply. You can start a continuous conversation mode by voice.
It runs on a computer on the same network and needs your Xiaomi account details and a key from the AI service you choose. The instructions are in Chinese.
Who it's for
Owners of Xiaomi smart speakers who are comfortable running a small program to make their speaker smarter.
