What it does
AI coding agents like Claude Code and Codex can work on long tasks alone, so some people run several at once. Git, the tool programmers use to track code changes, has a feature called worktrees that gives each agent its own copy of the project. Worktrunk is a command-line tool that makes worktrees much simpler to use.
It also adds extras such as AI-written commit messages, AI summaries of each branch, one-step merging and shared build files so each copy doesn't need to rebuild everything.
