What it does
Video2X improves videos and images using machine learning. It can upscale, which means increasing the resolution so a small or blurry video looks sharper on a big screen.
It can also do frame interpolation, adding new frames between existing ones so motion looks smoother. It supports several well-known AI models for these jobs, including some aimed at anime.
It works on Windows and Linux and needs a fairly modern processor and graphics card.
Who it's for
Anyone who wants to improve old, low-resolution or choppy videos, including anime fans and video hobbyists.
