What it does
video-shotcraft is a skill (a set of instructions and tools) for the AI coding assistants Claude Code and Codex. You ask the assistant to make a promo for your product, and it captures your web pages, picks shots from a library of motion designs, plans the film, adds music and sound, and hands you an MP4 video.
Its maker stresses that it is not an AI video generator. Every frame is drawn by code from your own screenshots and text, using a video tool called Remotion, so the result stays sharp and can be edited.
After delivery, a browser-based editor lets you change text, colours, timing and shots before exporting again. It can also export to the JianYing (CapCut China) editor.
