What it does
TrueForge is an agent harness: the layer that runs an AI agent's loop of thinking, using tools and replying. It handles model calls, MCP tools (plug-ins for new abilities), skills, sandboxes for running code safely, approvals and saved sessions.
You can use it through a chat window, an API (a doorway for other programs), or embed its chat interface in your own app. It works with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini and other providers.
It runs in a simple local mode on one computer, or in a hosted mode for teams. The README warns local mode has no login and should stay on your own machine.
