What it does
Once an AI model is trained, it needs to be "served", which means kept running so apps can send it requests and get answers. Triton is open-source software from NVIDIA that does this. It can run models built with many different tools, such as PyTorch, TensorRT and ONNX.
It is designed for speed: it can run several models at once and group incoming requests together. It works in the cloud, in data centres and on smaller edge devices, on NVIDIA graphics cards as well as regular processors.
Who it's for
Engineering teams that need to put AI models into production and serve them to many users.
