What it does
Trigger.dev is a platform for building AI agents and workflows in TypeScript (a programming language for the web). It runs long tasks in the background without the time limits many hosting services impose.
It handles retries when something fails, queues, scheduled jobs and detailed logs. Tasks can pause until a person approves, and results, including AI responses, can stream live into an app.
It can be used as a hosted service or self-hosted.
