What it does
TrendRadar gathers trending topics from several platforms and RSS feeds (a standard way websites publish updates) into one place, so you only see news you care about.
You choose keywords to filter by. AI can also pick out relevant stories, translate them and write short analysis briefs. Results can be pushed to apps such as WeChat, Feishu, DingTalk, Telegram, Slack, email, ntfy or Bark. It can also connect to AI assistants through MCP so you can ask questions about the news in plain language.
The main documentation is in Chinese, with an English version. It gets much of its data from another open project called newsnow.
Who it's for
People who follow news and online trends and want a filtered digest instead of endless scrolling.
