What it does
Once an AI model is trained, it needs to be served, made available so other programs can ask it for answers. TensorFlow Serving does this for production systems.
It can run several models, or several versions of one model, at once, and lets teams switch to new versions without changing the apps that use them.
It groups requests together to make good use of graphics cards, and works best with TensorFlow models, though it can be extended.
Who it's for
Engineering teams putting machine-learning models into live products.
