What it does
Swarms is a Python framework for building systems with many AI agents. An agent here is an AI model with tools and memory that can work through tasks step by step.
Agents can be arranged to work one after another, side by side or in a hierarchy. They can use outside tools through MCP, and an agent can itself be offered as a tool for others.
Its makers describe it as built for business use. It usually needs a key from an AI provider such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
