What it does
Stability Matrix is a manager for Stable Diffusion, a family of AI image generators. Instead of setting up tools like ComfyUI, Automatic1111, Fooocus or InvokeAI by hand, you install and update them from one app.
It keeps one shared folder of models for all of them and has a built-in browser for downloading models from CivitAI and Hugging Face. It also has its own image-making screen, called Inference.
It brings its own copies of Git and Python, so you don't need to install them yourself.
