Spring AI

A framework that helps Java developers connect their apps and data to AI models.

New this week

What it does

Spring AI is part of the Spring family of tools for Java. It gives developers one consistent way to work with many AI providers, including Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Amazon Bedrock and Ollama.

It covers chat, image generation, transcription, text-to-speech and more. It also connects to many vector databases (stores that let AI search by meaning) for answering questions about your own data.

Other features include tool calling, chat memory, ways to check AI answers, and support for MCP, a standard for linking AI to outside tools.
