What it does
Solid Glass is a design system, a shared look and set of building pieces, for the screens of AI apps. Its makers describe the style as glass that feels solid: fine borders, soft shadows and subtle edge highlights, without the see-through effect that can make text hard to read.
It is mostly one stylesheet that restyles components from shadcn/ui, a popular collection of web interface parts, in light and dark modes. It also adds its own pieces for apps where an AI agent works, such as a status light, a message box, a list of steps the agent took, a view of changes, and a display of the agent's thinking.
A companion website shows whole example screens built from the parts, and a Create page where you can adjust settings like thickness, tint and blur and get the matching style code.
Who it's for
Web developers and designers building chat or AI agent apps who want a consistent, finished look without designing every part themselves.
