Social Media Research Skills for AI Agents

Ready-made research routines that let AI assistants study public social media posts, comments, ads and trends.

What it does

This is a set of "skills", ready-made instructions that AI assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor or Gemini CLI can follow. They help the assistant research public posts on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, X, LinkedIn, Facebook and other sites.

Skills cover tasks like finding posts that did much better than usual, digging through comments for questions and complaints, comparing competitors, reviewing active ads, spotting trends and building lists of influencers. Each one aims to produce a finished report, table or list rather than raw data.

The data comes from ScrapeCreators, an online service that collects public social media data. You need an API key (a password-like code) from that service. The makers say it works with public data only, not private or logged-in content.

Who it's for

Marketers, content creators and small business owners who already use an AI coding assistant and want help researching social media.

Can I use it without coding?

With some setup. You add the skills with one command and set an API key, then ask your AI assistant questions in plain language. New to this? Start here.

Can I run it?

Cost
Free, but needs an AI accountThe software is free, but it uses an online AI service (like OpenAI or Anthropic), which usually charges for use.
Computer
An ordinary computer is fine
Privacy
Sends what you give it to an online service
API key
Needed. An API key is a password-like code from an online AI service. What's that?

Try it

  1. Install an AI assistant that supports Agent Skills, such as Claude Code or Cursor.
  2. Add these skills to your assistant using the install command in the README.
  3. Get a ScrapeCreators API key from its website, set it up, then ask your assistant a research question.

Using Claude Code, Cursor or another AI coding assistant? Paste the prompt and it will walk you through the setup.New to this?
