sktime

A Python toolkit for analysing and forecasting data that changes over time.

New this week

What it does

sktime is a code library for time series, which are measurements recorded over time, such as daily sales or sensor readings.

It offers one consistent way to do many related jobs: forecasting future values, sorting series into groups, clustering similar ones, and spotting unusual events or sudden changes. It comes with many ready-made algorithms.

It is designed to work like scikit-learn, a popular machine learning library, and connects to other tools such as statsmodels and Prophet.

Who it's for

Data scientists and analysts who work with time-based data in Python.
