What it does
SAHI, short for Slicing Aided Hyper Inference, helps object-detection AI (AI that finds and labels things in pictures) work better on big images where objects are tiny, such as satellite photos.
It cuts a large image into smaller tiles, runs detection on each one and combines the results. It works with many popular detection models.
It also includes tools to prepare datasets, measure accuracy and make charts that show where a model makes mistakes.
Who it's for
Computer-vision developers and researchers, for example working with drone or satellite images.
