What it does
Read Frog is a language-learning extension for your web browser. It can translate whole web pages, sentences you select, and subtitles on YouTube, X and Netflix, showing the translation next to the original.
You can save words and notes you meet while reading and review them later as flashcards, scheduled to appear just before you are likely to forget them. It can also read text aloud in many voices.
It works with many AI providers, and you can create your own AI actions, such as dictionary lookups or rewriting. Some features, like transcribing videos without captions, are part of paid Pro and Ultra plans.
