What it does
PyTorch is a popular toolkit for building AI models. PyTorch Lightning sits on top of it and organises the code, handling the repetitive engineering parts of training, such as using several graphics cards (GPUs) at once.
Its makers say you can scale from a regular processor to many machines without changing your core code, while experts can still take full control when they need to.
Who it's for
Machine learning researchers and engineers who train or fine-tune models.
