What it does
Plano is a proxy server, a middle layer that sits between your app, its AI agents and the AI models they use. It handles the plumbing so developers don't have to build it into every app.
It decides which agent or model should handle each request, records detailed traces of what happened, and can add safety filters such as jailbreak protection and moderation.
Its makers say it uses small, purpose-built AI models for routing, and that these are hosted free in one US region for first-time trials.
