What it does
PhotoPrism is like a self-hosted Google Photos. It automatically labels pictures by what's in them, recognises faces of family and friends, and lets you search by place, colour and more. It also shows photos on world maps.
It runs on your own computer or server, so your photos stay under your control. You use it in a web browser, and it can be added to a phone's home screen.
Who it's for
People who want an organised, private photo library without big tech cloud services.
