What it does
AI coding agents often finish a task or wait for permission without telling you. peon-ping plays short voice lines, such as the Peon from Warcraft III, and shows an on-screen banner when that happens.
It works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other tools and editors. There are many sound packs and you can create your own. It can also send notifications to your phone, and an agent can pick its own sound.
It runs on Mac, Linux and Windows, including through remote connections.
Who it's for
People who use AI coding agents and want an alert when the agent needs them.
