What it does
Parlant is a toolkit for building AI agents that talk to customers, such as support chatbots. Its focus is control: making sure the agent behaves consistently, follows company rules and policies, and keeps a clear record of why it said what it said.
Instead of stuffing one long instruction prompt with every rule, developers define rules and knowledge separately, and Parlant brings in only what's relevant at each point in a conversation. Its makers say this helps prevent unwanted answers, and they point to their research on keeping AI responses accurate.
