What it does
Paperclip is a self-hosted app for managing many AI agents at once. It looks like a task manager: you set business goals, "hire" agents into roles on an org chart, assign work and watch progress from one dashboard.
It works with many existing AI agents and coding tools, such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Gemini CLI. You can set budgets per company, agent or project, get alerts when spending nears a limit, and require review or approval before work goes ahead.
Tasks keep their conversations, files and history together. It also supports shared skills, connections to services like GitHub and Notion, and use from a phone.
Who it's for
Teams and individuals who run several AI agents and want to coordinate, review and control their work and costs.
Can I use it without coding?
With some setup. It runs as a server and web interface you host yourself, and it connects to AI agents you set up separately. New to this? Start here.
