What it does
Oumi is a toolkit that covers the full life of an AI model: preparing training data, fine-tuning (adjusting an existing model with your own examples), evaluating results and serving the model to users.
It supports many open models, such as Llama, Gemma, Qwen and DeepSeek, including models that read images. Recent additions focus on training models that use tools. It can also connect to commercial AI services.
Its makers say it runs anywhere from a laptop to large cloud clusters, and offer guided notebooks to try in Google Colab.
Who it's for
Machine learning engineers and researchers who build or customise their own AI models.
