What it does
Orama is a search engine that developers can put directly into a website, app or server. It can search by exact words, by meaning (using vector search, where text is turned into numbers that capture its sense), or by a mix of the two.
It includes common search features such as filters, typo tolerance, location search and support for many languages. It can also power AI chat sessions that answer questions from the data you've added.
Its makers say the core is very small, so it can run in a browser without a separate search server.
