Optuna

Automatically finds the best settings for a machine learning model by trying many options smartly.

Widely used

What it does

When training a machine learning model, you choose settings called hyperparameters, such as how fast it learns. Picking good ones by hand is slow. Optuna tries many combinations automatically and homes in on the best.

It uses search methods that focus on promising options and stop poor attempts early. It can spread the work across many computers and draw charts showing how the search went.

Settings to try are written in ordinary Python code, so they can be flexible.
