OpenHuman

A lightweight AI agent app with built-in memory that can use a web browser and desktop apps for you.

Fast-risingResearch-backed

What it does

OpenHuman is an AI agent "harness": the software that wraps an AI model and lets it use tools, remember things and carry out tasks. It comes as a desktop app for everyday users and as a code library for developers.

The agent has built-in memory and picks out what's relevant before each step. It can control a real web browser and your desktop apps, and the README says it stops before any payment. Its makers say it is faster and cheaper to run than similar tools because it sends the AI less text, and they publish benchmarks comparing it with six others.

Developers can also run hundreds of agents on one small server. The project calls itself an early beta, so expect rough edges.

Who it's for

People who want a personal AI agent on their desktop, and developers who run many agents at once.

Can I use it without coding?
