What it does
Open-LLM-VTuber is a voice chat app with an animated character (a "Live2D" avatar, the style used by many virtual streamers). You speak, the AI answers out loud, and you can interrupt it mid-sentence without needing headphones.
It can also see through your camera or screen, show the character's expressions, and float on your desktop as a "pet". You can change the character's look, personality and voice. Its makers say it can run fully offline with local models, or use online AI services.
The makers note it's in early stages and that a full rewrite is being planned.
