What it does
nanobot is a personal AI agent you run yourself. You can talk to it in a web page, in the terminal, or through chat apps such as Telegram, Discord, Slack, WeChat and email.
It can read PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, search the web, run scheduled tasks and remember your preferences over time. It can also hand work to other agents and connect to more tools through MCP.
It does not include an AI model itself. You connect it to a model provider or a model running on your own computer. Its makers keep the core small so it is easy to read and change.
Who it's for
People who want their own AI assistant reachable from their chat apps, and developers who want a simple agent to build on.
Can I use it without coding?
