What it does
ms-swift, from the ModelScope community, helps people adapt existing AI models to their own data and needs (fine-tuning). It supports hundreds of text models and many that also handle images, video and audio.
It covers the full process: training, testing, shrinking models so they run on less hardware, and serving them to users. It includes many training methods, including light ones that let a mid-sized model be trained on a single graphics card.
It comes with over 150 ready-made datasets and a web interface for training and testing. It runs on NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards, several other chips, Apple computers and ordinary processors.
Who it's for
Machine-learning engineers and researchers who fine-tune or deploy open AI models.
Can I use it without coding?
Developers only. Needs Python, machine-learning knowledge and usually a graphics card, though a web interface helps with some steps. New to this? Start here.
