What it does
Morphic is an AI-powered search engine. You ask a question, it searches the web, and it writes an answer with links to its sources, shown with images, grids and headings rather than just plain text.
You can choose the AI model, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or local models through Ollama, and choose the search service. It can save chat history, share results by link and accept file uploads.
It is meant to be run on your own computer or server. The Docker setup includes a free search engine, so only an AI provider key is needed.
Who it's for
Tech-comfortable people and developers who want their own Perplexity-style AI search.
