Modular Platform (MAX and Mojo)

Open-source parts of Modular's platform: the Mojo programming language and the MAX engine for running AI models.

What it does

This repository holds the open-source parts of the Modular Platform, which is used to build and run AI models. It has two main pieces.

Mojo is a programming language aimed at fast AI and graphics-card (GPU) programming. MAX is a framework for writing and serving AI models, including a server that accepts requests in the same format as OpenAI's API, so existing apps can switch to it.

Its makers are opening up more of the platform over time. The repository includes the Mojo compiler and standard library, GPU programming tools, model pipelines and examples.
