What it does
Mika is an AI assistant app for Android phones. You tell it what you want in one sentence, and it opens apps, taps, types and scrolls until the task is done. It works on a hidden background screen, so you can keep using your phone while it runs.
It looks at the screen and finds buttons the way a person does, so it works with any app or website. It can summarize a group chat, add a product to a shopping cart, set reminders, or run tasks on a schedule. By default it asks you before spending money, and it hands logins, verification codes and payments back to you.
There is no Mika server. You connect your own AI model by entering an API key (a password-like code from an AI service) or by signing in with a ChatGPT, xAI or OpenRouter account. You can also point it at a model running on your own computer. Keys and memories are stored encrypted on the phone.
Who it's for
Android phone users who want an assistant that can carry out everyday tasks in their apps and browser for them.
Can I use it without coding?
