MCP for Blender

Lets you build and change 3D scenes in Blender by describing what you want to an AI assistant.

What it does

MCP for Blender connects Blender, a free 3D design program, to AI assistants such as Claude, Codex or Cursor. You can then ask the AI to create objects, set up a scene or change what is already there, and it does the work inside Blender.

It uses MCP (Model Context Protocol), a standard way for AI assistants to control outside tools. A setup command finds the AI apps on your computer and installs the Blender add-on for you.

It is a community project and is not made by or affiliated with the Blender Foundation.

Who it's for

3D artists, hobbyists and designers who use Blender and want AI help with modelling.

Can I use it without coding?
