MaxKB

A platform for building AI assistants and Q&A bots that answer from your company's documents.

What it does

MaxKB ("Max Knowledge Brain") is a platform for building AI agents for businesses. You upload documents or point it at websites, and it prepares them so an AI can answer questions using that material, which its makers say reduces made-up answers.

A workflow engine lets you design more complex AI processes, and it can use outside tools through MCP. It works with many models, both ones you host yourself, such as DeepSeek, Llama and Qwen, and online ones such as OpenAI, Claude and Gemini.

It can be added to existing business systems and handles text, images, audio and video.

Who it's for

Companies and teams building internal help desks, customer-service bots or knowledge assistants.
