LLM Course

A free course with roadmaps and hands-on notebooks for learning how large language models work and are built.

What it does

This is a free course about large language models (LLMs), the technology behind chatbots like ChatGPT. It is organised into three parts: optional fundamentals (maths, Python and neural networks), building better models, and building apps with them.

It includes many notebooks, interactive coding pages that run in Google Colab in a web browser, covering topics such as fine-tuning (teaching a model new skills) and quantization (shrinking a model so it runs on ordinary hardware).

Who it's for

Learners with some programming background who want a structured path into LLMs.

Can I use it without coding?

Yes. It is a set of web pages and browser notebooks; reading needs no setup, though the exercises involve code. New to this? Start here.
