What it does
LiveKit Agents helps developers build voice AI agents: programs that listen, think and talk back in real time. They can also see video and can make or answer phone calls.
Developers mix and match the parts: speech-to-text, a language model and text-to-speech from different providers. A built-in model detects when someone has finished speaking, which its makers say reduces interruptions.
It includes tools for testing agents and connecting to MCP tools. The whole system, including LiveKit's media server, can run on your own servers.
