What it does
This is a starter template for deep-learning projects. It combines PyTorch Lightning, which organizes model-training code, with Hydra, which manages settings through configuration files.
It sets up folders, settings, experiment tracking, logging, testing and searching for the best training settings, so researchers can focus on their models. It is heavily commented and can double as a learning resource.
The README is honest about limits: things can break as the underlying tools change, and it is built for simple training setups. It is an unofficial community project.
