What it does
Lemonade is a local AI server: it runs AI models on your own computer and lets other apps use them, just as they would use an online AI service. Its makers say it is free and private.
It handles chat, coding help, speech, transcription and image generation. A built-in model manager lets you browse and download models, and built-in screens let you try them. Many apps can connect to it because it speaks the same language as common AI services.
It is built by the community, with tuning from AMD engineers for AMD Ryzen AI and Radeon hardware. There are also mobile apps, and a version developers can bundle into their own software.
Who it's for
PC owners who want private, offline AI, and developers who want to add local AI to their apps.
