Lemo-Opuscar

A Claude Code add-on that makes short narrated films in dozens of visual styles, built entirely from code.

What it does

Lemo-Opuscar is a skill, a set of instructions and tools, for Claude Code, an AI coding assistant that works in your computer's terminal. You pick one of the film styles, such as watercolor, Chinese ink wash or satellite briefing, describe your story, and the AI makes a short film.

No video-generating AI or stock footage is used. The AI draws every frame with code on web pages, writes music from free sample libraries, and adds narration with text-to-speech (computer-generated voice). Each style comes with a style guide and a demo film, which you can watch in an online gallery.

Before it starts, the AI asks about anything unclear, whether you have your own voice or music, and whether you want to see a storyboard first. You can also change a style, give it your own name, and get a short test film. The makers say a film takes about 30 to 60 minutes and uses a fair amount of AI usage.

Who it's for

People who already use Claude Code and want to make short explainer or story films without filming or video-generation tools.

Can I use it without coding?

With some setup. You install it with a couple of terminal commands and need Node, ffmpeg and Python, but then you just describe the film in plain words. New to this? Start here.

Can I run it?

Cost
Free, but needs an AI accountThe software is free, but it uses an online AI service (like OpenAI or Anthropic), which usually charges for use.

Try it

  1. Make sure you have Claude Code, Node, ffmpeg and Python installed.
  2. Add the Lemo-Opuscar plugin to Claude Code using the install steps in the README.
  3. Ask for a film in plain words, naming a style, a length and your topic.

Using Claude Code, Cursor or another AI coding assistant? Paste the prompt and it will walk you through the setup.New to this?
