What it does
This is a plugin for Krita, a free drawing and painting app. It lets you use AI to fill selections, add or remove objects, extend images, upscale them and paint with live AI feedback.
Its makers focus on control: you can limit changes to a selection, guide results with sketches, line art or reference images, and give different text descriptions to different areas.
It can run everything on your own computer with open models, which needs a strong graphics card, or use a cloud service to get started quickly.
Who it's for
Artists and illustrators who want AI tools inside their normal painting workflow.
Can I use it without coding?
Yes. You install it into Krita from a downloaded file; the plugin can set up its own local AI server. New to this? Start here.
