What it does
This project is a library of "footguns": common mistakes that cause bugs when building apps with Kotlin, Compose Multiplatform (a way to build one app for phones and computers) and desktop Java. Its maker says the lessons come from years of running a real music app, not from official documentation.
The mistakes are grouped into ten topic areas, such as databases, media playback, screen design, background tasks and app packaging. Each one is a short text file that explains what goes wrong, why, how to check your own code for it, and how to fix it. They use the open "agent skills" format, so AI coding assistants like Claude Code can open the right file when the work matches. People can read them too.
An extra skill called footgun-scan checks new code changes against known risky patterns. It flags spots for the AI assistant or a person to review.
