What it does
Kornia is a library of image tools built on PyTorch. It includes filters, blurs, edge detection, colour changes, rotations and 3D geometry, all designed to slot into AI training.
It also offers ways to create varied training images automatically, plus ready-trained models for jobs such as face detection, matching points between photos and cutting objects out of images.
Its makers describe it as a reference for computer vision and geometry in the PyTorch world. There are tutorials and a playground to try it in the browser.
Who it's for
Developers and researchers building computer vision or robotics systems.
