What it does
Kilo Code is an AI assistant for programmers. You describe what you want in plain words and it writes or edits code across several files, suggests code as you type, and checks and corrects its own work. It can also run terminal commands and control a web browser.
It has separate modes for writing code, planning a design, answering questions about a project without changing it, and debugging. You can choose from hundreds of AI models and switch between them mid-task.
It runs as a VS Code extension, a JetBrains plugin, a command-line tool or in the cloud, and can review code changes automatically. The command-line tool is based on another open-source project, OpenCode.
