What it does
Khoj is a personal AI app its makers call "your AI second brain". You can chat with many different AI models, either online ones like GPT, Claude and Gemini or models running on your own computer.
It can search and answer questions about your own files, including PDFs, Word documents, Markdown, Notion and org-mode notes, and it can also look things up online. You can create custom agents with their own knowledge and personality, and schedule automatic research that arrives as newsletters or notifications.
You can use it from a web browser, Obsidian, Emacs, a desktop app, your phone or WhatsApp. It is open source and can be run privately on your own computer or used through the makers' cloud app.
Who it's for
People who want an AI assistant that knows their notes and documents, from students and researchers to teams.
Can I use it without coding?
