json_repair

A small Python library that fixes broken JSON data, such as badly formatted AI output.

Widely usedNew this week

What it does

JSON is a common text format for passing data between programs. AI models sometimes return JSON with small mistakes, like a missing bracket or stray words.

json_repair fixes these problems, such as missing quotes, extra commas or cut-off values, so programs can read the data.

It can be dropped in where programmers normally read JSON, and there is an online demo to test it.

Who it's for

Python developers who handle data returned by AI models or other messy sources.
