What it does
iFixAi tests AI agents. Its makers say most testing tools focus on technical things like speed and resistance to tricks, and that iFixAi instead checks whether an agent is doing its intended job according to a business's goals and rules.
It runs a set of inspections against an AI model or your own agent, then produces a scorecard and reports, and other AI models can act as judges. Its makers say a run takes under two minutes. A separate tool looks for short chains of permitted actions that could still lead to a harmful result.
You can run it as a guided command-line wizard, as part of automated testing, or from inside an AI coding assistant such as Claude Code or Codex, which then explains the results. The README says it shows the cost before running anything that is billed.
Who it's for
Teams building or deploying AI agents who need to check how they behave and what could go wrong.
Can I use it without coding?
Developers only. Runs from the command line or inside an AI coding tool, and needs keys for the AI services being tested. New to this? Start here.
Can I run it?
- Cost
- Free, but needs an AI accountThe software is free, but it uses an online AI service (like OpenAI or Anthropic), which usually charges for use.
- Computer
- An ordinary computer is fine
- Privacy
- Sends what you give it to an online service
- API key
- Needed. An API key is a password-like code from an online AI service. What's that?
Try it
- Install iFixAi with Python, or add its plugin to Claude Code or Codex.
- Run the setup wizard to pick the AI provider, model and checks.
- Run the audit and read the scorecard report it produces.
Using Claude Code, Cursor or another AI coding assistant? Paste the prompt and it will walk you through the setup.New to this?
