What it does
HexStrike AI is an MCP server, a connector that lets AI assistants such as Claude or GPT use outside tools. Here the tools are well-known programs for security testing, also called penetration testing.
Its makers say the AI can choose which tools to run, adjust its approach based on results, and produce reports of weaknesses it finds. It is aimed at bug bounty work, capture-the-flag contests and security research.
Testing systems you do not own or have permission to test is usually illegal, so this kind of tool is only for authorised work.
Who it's for
Security professionals and researchers doing authorised security testing.
