What it does
gstack is a collection of add-on instructions, called skills, for Claude Code, an AI coding assistant. Each skill is a slash command that gives the AI a specific job, such as product reviewer, engineering manager, designer, code reviewer, QA tester, security officer or release engineer.
You might start with a command that asks questions about what you are building. Then you can have the AI review a feature idea, check code changes for bugs, or test a website in a real browser. Its makers describe it as twenty-three specialists and eight power tools, all written as plain text files.
It is built mainly for Claude Code, but the README says it can also be installed for other AI coding tools, such as OpenAI Codex CLI, Cursor, OpenCode and GitHub Copilot CLI. Teams can set it up so everyone working on a shared project gets it automatically.
Who it's for
Founders, tech leads and engineers who use AI coding assistants and want structured review, testing and release steps. The README also suggests it for people new to Claude Code who want guided roles instead of a blank prompt.
Can I use it without coding?
